Alex was born in Augsburg, Germany in 1954 to Charles and Elizabeth Muth. As a military dependent, Alex was able to experience life in many locations in the United States while growing up, and after finally settling in Aurora, Colorado in 1972, Alex met Debbie (Baker) Muth, the young schoolgirl that would later become his wife in 1980.
After a beautifully long romance, and a marriage of 42 years, Alex is survived by his wife Deborah Muth; his son, Devin Muth; his daughter, Brittany Muth; his mother Elizabeth Muth; and his sisters, Barb Adams, Alice Lester, & Charlene Pagan. Alex also leaves behind his grandchildren, Emylie Muth and Devon Gay, to cherish the many wonderful memories that we made.
Alex will be remembered for his love of reading, his love of going backpacking and hiking in the mountains, his love of sitting around a chilly Fall night’s bonfire, his love of photography, and his daily walk, but he mostly loved hanging in his hammock in the backyard, just listening to nature.
Alex had a long career in the banking industry before retiring in October, and was blessed to have made many good friends through the years. Alex was passionate about his family, friends, and his pets, and will be so greatly missed by us all.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.AdvantageAurora.com for the Muth family.
