Alemash Tesfay was born to Keshi Tesfay Libsu and Tiebe Beyene in Mdirba.
Alemash is the mother of 9 children and has seen her children and grandchildren raised, and one of her sons is a martyr and 8 of her children live in different countries.
Our dear mother passed away on 12/25/2024 due to a short illness. Our grief is bitter and intense but thanks to you we are comforted.
We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister.
Mother Alemas' deep faith in God, love, smile, tireless spirit and care were the pride of our lives for all of us, her family and friends. For the past eight years, she has traveled from her hometown to Colorado and elsewhere to see her children and grandchildren.
Although she passed away, her spirit will live in our hearts. We, as her family, would like to thank the entire Eritrean and Ethiopian community in Colorado and elsewhere for their continued support during this difficult time.
