Robert was born on May 15, 1956, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Waymon and Carmelita Saxon. He graduated from Butler High School.
Robert loved his little dog, Dixie. He was a proud member of IBEW 1579, International Brotherhood Electrical Workers. He worked as an electrician and retired after 30 years of faithful service. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Robert is survived by his brothers Waymon Saxon Jr (Patricia), Ricky Saxon (Lorie), niece Katherine Virginia Saxon and nephew Ricky Saxon Jr.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12,2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road Augusta, Ga 30907. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, Georgia 30906.
