Morris Edward Perkins, 73 of Grovetown, raised in Burke County has sadly passed on 4/21/21. He was a Marine Corps veteran from the Vietnam War and is survived by his wife Zenaida, his daughters Michelle and Mary, his sons Patrick and Chuck, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was an amazing storyteller of life’s experiences. He loved to laugh. He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He passed on his work ethics and morals to his family and friends. He also loved to cook and those who came to his home, left with full bellies, laughter in their hearts, and a lifelong friend they could depend on. He welcomed family and even raised some as his own.
He said, “Death wasn’t the end, but a stepping stone to the next adventure. It is never goodbye, only til we meet again. He will leave this life with love in his heart for his family and friends and that we should not cry for him when he’s gone, for he will always be around.“ He will be forever missed and never forgotten.
