Joyce Cook

Joyce loved to cook. She was a dedicated member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for over 60 years. She lived her entire life in Augusta, Georgia. She loved her children, family and her beloved dogs.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Vivian Lazenby and her brother Robert J. Lazenby Jr. Survivors include her children Candy Cook Clowers (Shannon); James C Cook Jr. (Beth); Debra M Beazley (Wayne); grandchild Danny Campbell, Eric Campbell, Crystal Cook Moore, Tamara Cook Duncan, Brian “Nick” Sanders, Brandon James Cook; grandson Andrew Kent, Gunner Halloway, Dewey Halloway, Aiden Vandenbulcke.

Funeral Service will be held at Monday, August 22, 2022 at 2 pm at Augusta 1st SDA Church, 4301 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30907. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Lumpkin Road location of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road Augusta, GA 30906.

Proceeds sent to the family will go towards paying for the funeral service. Remaining proceeds will go to Augusta Richmond Animal Shelter.
