A little over a yr ago I lost a great friend named John and my life is so lonely without him. 😞 I know he is now with his wife Myrna and that's where he wanted to be. He talked of her often and missed her dearly and it broke my heart. I recently moved to Waynesboro, Ga and I just realized that I'm now closer to where he was laid to rest and my plans are to visit him soon. John I sure do miss you!😇

I didn't know john that long , but he was a good friend and someone I looked up to.


Mr. John Sullivan was a landlord and mentor to me but he was also my friend  whom Ill miss dearly. He was like a father to me and Ill never forget the brief time I was fortunate enough to have known him. RIP Mr. Sullivan

I have known John since I was a young girl. He was a customer of my dads. Once B and B Sales closed we stayed friends and in contact. I worked at Barney’s Pharmacy. I was blessed to have known him. He was a good man . He loved his wife so much. He talked about her all the time.  He will be greatly missed! He is loved and will be missed! My prayer to all his friends and family! My name is Brenda King and i met John, 2 yrs ago, when i moved onto Howard Road and we became fast friends. One thing was certain about John he loved working and he always made sure he did the best he could at anything he did. He took me to some of his favorite places to eat and would introduce me to the owners of these places and they were always glad to see him. We shared a love of nature & anything funny. I use to record shows that we would watch, when he had time. Around Christmas time, this past year, i got him to come over and watch a real funny movie called Home Alone. A few minutes into it he said, "watch this. Its funny", and it was then that i realized  we had watched it the year before, also, but he said, "its ok. I like this one," so we had great fun laughing & enjoying it. I always loved seeing him laugh. He was also very helpful if i needed something done in this place i live. He was always telling me about his life such as being in the Air Force, places he worked, places he had lived and about his family. I loved listening to his adventures. One thing he spoke of often was about his wife, Myrna and he told me that he had taken flowers, and put on her grave, on the 9th of every month since her passing. There is no doubt that he still loved and missed her every day! "John, i miss you now and i will always cherish our time together and there is a special place in my heart that you will always be. My heart aches now but i draw comfort knowing that you are now back together, with Myrna, and that you are happy! Peace be with you my friend!"

John was my next door neighbor, he was my best friend, we shared a lot, trips to North Carolina, Concerts, Futurity, and taking care of him when he broke his foot. I will miss  Him more than hearts can say. Bless his  Family whom he loved dearly. 

Mr. John was a special friend to our family for many years, and we all will miss him deeply.  Our prayers are with the family at this time.  Love, Julie Timmons, Scarlett and Stephen Spangler
