Evelyn Letbetter

Mrs. Letbetter was born to the late George and Florence LaFavor in Augusta, GA. Mrs. Letbetter was a faithful member of South Augusta Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, watching old western movies and shopping. Mrs. Letbetter adored her family, especially cherishing every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Letbetter is preceded in death by her brothers, George LaFavor and Larry LaFavor; and numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her children, Robert “Bubba” Letbetter, Billy Letbetter Sr., and Angela Letbetter; sisters, Ann Chavous and Mary Horne (Sonny); grandchildren, Loyce Forbes (James), Billy Letbetter, Jr. (Alma), Michael Davis, Daniel Letbetter (Anja), Crystal Letbetter and Jessica Letbetter; great-grandchildren, Sam Landaverde, Evan Letbetter, Kayla Letbetter, Liam Letbetter, Carter Forbes and soon to be here Bryson Forbes; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm, Friday, November 15, 2024 at South Augusta Church of Christ with Rev. Kenny Chavous officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations toward the funeral by calling Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 706-793-0123.
