Mrs. Carrie Jane Page, 73, of Augusta, GA, passed away at her home on April 29, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11am in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel White and Dr. Roy Head officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. A lifelong resident of the CSRA, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Pauline Anderson Godbee. Jane was a homemaker, a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and the Ivy Club. At the church, Jane was a Sunday school teacher, vacation bible school teacher, a member of the WMU, Kid's Power program. Jane enjoyed traveling, baking, and making crafts. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Gerald. Jane is survived by her husband, Carlos Page; daughters, Debra (Margarito) Cruz, Grovetown, GA, Darlene Heath, Aiken, SC, Cheryl (Charles) Finch, Thompson, GA, Anita (Chester) Plecha, Evans, GA; stepdaughters, Faye (Tommy) Rhodes, Evans, GA, Cynthia, (Joe) Kelly, Hephzibah, GA; sisters, LaRose (Marion) Neal, Clearwater, SC, Willene (Giles) Johnson, Prosperity, SC; brother, LaRue (Betty) Godbee, Beech Island, SC; 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta.
