Carolyn L. Smith

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 6, 2016 in the Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Rd. Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Owens officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service.

Mrs. Smith was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She retired from United Merchants as a supervisor, and after that she was an Avon representative. Mrs. Smith loved everyone she came in contact with. If you ever met her you were blessed. She always had affection for animals.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her sister, Margie Lambert Lewis. Survivors include her children, Lawrence (Lillian) Smith, Johnny (Katy) Smith, Ann (Billy) Works and Jessie Lee Smith III; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
