Shirley Ann Hager, 68, of Winter Haven, passed away August 10th, 2011 due to lung cancer. She was born in Strange Creek, WV, on May 22nd, 1943and moved to this area 37 years ago from Maryland. Shirley was in the home child care profession for 25 years.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Vina Dean, and her brother, Homer Dean. Shirley is survived by her husband, Don E. Hager, daughter Donna Townsend (Mike), son, Don Hager Jr. (Jack), both of winter Haven, daughter Sherry Jervis (Vincent), Maryville, TN, 7 grandchildren, Cheryl Bachman (Mike), Josie, Julia, Tabitha, Zackary, Sierra, Hope, 2 great grandchildren, Jacob and Jayden, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug 16th from 3-4 with services at 4, both at Ott-Laughlin in Auburndale. Donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
