Robert was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and after serving in the military he went on to become an Pilot Escort.
Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Bevins; his daughter Janet Fogarty of Valrico, Florida; his daughter Sheryl Aguirre of Ocala, Florida; his daughter Tracey Pate of Plant City, Florida; his son Keith McCawley of Lakeland, Florida; and his daughter Dewon Bevins of Winter Haven, Florida.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Bevins and his mother Ameta Jane Bevins.
A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Auburndale, Florida. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home. Robert will be laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, Auburndale, Florida.
