Lakeland- James “Jim” P. Kessler, age 81, of Lakeland, FL passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014. He was born March 29, 1933 in St. Charles, MO. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri, served in the US Navy, was a member of the Presbyterian Church in the Highlands and was a retired engineer with IMC.
Jim is survived by his wife, of 54 years, Mary Kathryn (Books) Kessler, sons Gene Kessler and his wife Scotty and Carl Kessler, daughters Kathryn “Kathy” Kessler and Rebecca “Reba” Woodley and husband Jason, and grandchildren Bridget and Cathleen.
Funeral Services are 1:00 pm Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Presbyterian Church in the Highlands. Burial to follow in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
