.Coston Griner, 79, of Bartow, Florida passed away on September 30, 2017. He was born in Lakeland, Georgia on November 17, 1937 and moved to this area 58 years ago. He was the owner of the National Discount Transmission Shop and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was also a member of Inwood Baptist Church.
Mr. Griner was survived by his wife, Joyce Griner, brother, Fred Griner, daughter, Sheila Conner (Kevin) of Winter Haven, Florida and Tracey Perkins of Auburndale, Florida, son, Jonathan Griner (Crystall) of Eagle Lake, Florida, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale, Florida.
