Mechanic Falls - Regis P. Bosse, age 53, a longtime resident of Standpipe Rd. in Mechanic Falls, died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning May 25th at his home. He was born in Lewiston August 31, 1957, a son of Joseph R. and Alberta R. (Barre) Bosse. Regis was educated in Auburn schools, attending Edward Little High School and remained a lifelong resident of this community. On August 31, 1984 he married the former Sheila Clapp and together they settled in Auburn to raise their three children and have been residents of Mechanic Falls for the past 19 years. Regis was currently employed by John F. Murphy Homes at the time of his death, where he had spent more than a dozen years filling many different roles for them from driver to support staff, including best friends to co-workers and clients alike. He was a member of the American Legion. Regis was the ultimate outdoorsman. He absolutely loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle, barbecuing, hunting and putting around his property on his backhoe. He also enjoyed playing cards and always loved a good party. But most of all, Regis loved his family and friends and hanging out with them and enjoying quality times with them, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored. He was a loving, dedicated and hard-working husband, father and grandfather who loved his family and friends and was loved in return and will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He leaves his wife and lifelong companion of 37 years, Sheila L.Bosse of Mechanic Falls; his son Brian Bosse and wife Amanda of Mechanic Falls, his daughter Christel Bosse of Mechanic Falls and his son Jeff Bosse and wife Jessy of Poland; five grandchildren Ashlyn, Nathan, Ian, Jayson and Brendan; six sisters Doris Morin and husband Gerry of Lewiston, Denise Coombs and husband Mark of Brunswick,Dolly Poisson and husband Roger of Auburn, Diane Veilleux and husband Bob of Lewiston, Donna Aube and husband Roger of Lewiston and Dorothy Levesque and husband Kim of Lewiston; three brothers Richard Bosse and wife Debbie of Auburn, Ronnie Bosse and wife Pam of Turner and Roger Bosse and wife Rejeanne of Lewiston; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a close former sister-in-law Bea Levasseur and husband Rick of Auburn. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Rene Bosse.
