Lewiston, ME - It is with shattered hearts and great sadness that we announce the very unexpected death of our beloved Nicholas Daniel Morrissette at the young age of 23 this twenty-ninth day of January, 2024. Nic was born on March 13, 2000 to Jennifer Morrissette and Daniel Poulin.
Those that knew Nic, knew of his great heart and kind nature toward all. He would do anything to help anyone and always wanted to make people laugh with his carefree personality. Nic attended the Lewiston school districts and graduated from Lewiston High School in 2018.
Throughout middle and high school, Nic loved playing football and lacrosse, where he attained the nickname "Pigeon" as can be seen on his vehicle's license plate. Nic was employed at The Dingley Press since 2020 where he began his career as a Machine Operator and gained many new friends.
In his spare time, Nic cherished his time with his uncle John, learning how to build computers. Certainly, one of his favorite personal activities was watching the New York Giants on television and at the stadium with his Dad. He also treasured his relationship with family, friends and extended family to include Bri and Jeremy Bowen, who treated Nic as their own family and to which, we shall be forever grateful.
Nic was blessed with many other extended family members to include his sisters Dakota, Eska and his brother Keanen. Nic had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins that he adored. The list is gratefully too long to list.
Nicholas is survived by his mother Jennifer and her husband Richard, his father Dan and his wife Stephanie, as well as grandparents Denise and David Silvius and Joan and Scott Petit.
