Jeanne Isabel Cote

Jeanne was born on December 19, 1929, a daughter to Ernest and Yvonne (Roy) Desjardins. She was born and raised in Lewiston and attended Lewiston schools.

Jeanne met the love of her life, Paul Cote, while roller skating and they were married in 1948. They enjoyed many wonderful years together dancing, going to camp, and enjoying various trips until his passing in 1999.

She had a passion for bingo and enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods with different family members.

She loved being a mother and was the happiest when surrounded by family. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and caring nature, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Paul, her siblings, her grandson Dana Cote, and her great grandson Michael Bourgoin.

She leaves behind her nine children, Diane St. Hilaire and husband Daniel of Sabattus, Maurice Cote and wife Brenda of Auburn, Roger Cote and wife Bobbi of West Harwich, Massachusetts, Pauline Routhier and Andy of Sabattus, Louise Audet and husband Bruce of Mechanic Falls, Raymond Cote and wife Peggy of Auburn, Claudette Charest of Auburn, Lisa Cote of Auburn and Paul Cote Jr. of Auburn. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12 from 4PM to 8PM at The Fortin Group in Auburn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 13 at 1PM at Sacred Heart Church with Committal Prayers to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
