LEWISTON: Eva M. Lebel, 84, of Auburn peacefully passed away on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born in Auburn on the family farm on August 1, 1934 a daughter of the late Pierre and Angelina (Bosse) Caron. She grew up in the Auburn area and attended local schools there. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School. After high school, Eva met and eventually married Phil (Conrad) Lebel and they started a family together. She devoted much of her life and time to raising her children and taking care of her family and her home. She will always be remembered for her love of animals as well as flowers and gardening. She also was very passionate about spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.
Eva is survived by her three loving sons; Larry Lebel of Auburn, Willie Lebel and his wife Doreen of Lewiston and Raymond Lebel and his companion Peggy of Kentucky. She also leaves behind her three sisters; Lillian Latouche of Fredricton, New Brunswick, Theresa Caron of Auburn and Angie Gauthier of Poland, her granddaughter, Evalynn Lebel of Poland and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Phil (Conrad) along with several siblings.
Visiting hours will be held at Fortin\Auburn on Tuesday September 18, 2018 from 4-7pm. A Liturgy of the Word service will be celebrated on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at 11am also at the funeral home followed by committal prayers at St. Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston.
