He was born in Lewiston on September 13th, 1941 to Phyllis and William Schoppe. He had 9 brothers and sisters. William Schoppe, Ann Lacourse, Dot Putnum, Timothy Schoppe, Marguerite Tucker, Carol Wutzdorff, Mary Buker, Susan Ferrence and Cathy Hickman.
He graduated from Edward Little then served in the Air Force 4 years then joined reserves.
He was a receiver with K-Mart and VIP. He loved fly fishing and would make his own flies. He also loved to hunt but in later years he would just love to watch the deer
Donald was a member of Tranquil Lodge and was very proud when his nephew was sworn in.
He is predeceased by his mother and father, his brother William Schoppe, his sisters Mary Buker and Ann Lacourse, and his daughter Darcy Bosse
He leaves behind his beloved wife Patricia, his son Andrew Schoppe and Son in law Dan Bossie. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Donald Eaton, Dani Lafean and Lillian Bosse as well as many nieces and nephews.
Plans for a service will be done at later date.
