Auburn – Dolores “Dolly” Bosse Poisson, 72, a longtime resident of Auburn, made her transition to be with her lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long illness on February 17, 2023 and is now in her heavenly home. She was born in Lewiston August 25, 1950 the daughter of Joseph R and Alberta R (Barre) Bosse and was the fourth of eleven children. Dolly was educated in Auburn schools graduating from Edward Little High School. She married Roger Poisson and settled in Auburn where they enjoyed their life together.
Dolly was a talented cake decorator and made many wedding cakes for her nieces and nephews, she loved camping with Roger and friends, playing cards and Beano, and she spent much time hosting events where she was the coordinator for many fun games that were enjoyed by all.
Dolly’s faith in Jesus Christ changed her life at a very young age and she was faithful in witnessing her faith with others she met along her path of life. She planted many seeds and was used by the Lord to bring others to the same faith in Jesus Chris that she had. She was a participant and member of New Life Church until her illness. She is leaving many precious memories with all her loved ones left behind.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years Roger, her two stepsons David (Jenny) Poisson of Lewiston, Jimmy Poisson of Greene; three step grandchildren Lucas, Alexis, and Kason; 4 sisters Doris (Gerry) Morin of Lewiston, Denise (Mark) Coombs of Brunswick, Diane (Bob) Veilleux of Lewiston and Dorothy Levesque; three brothers Richard (Debbie) Bosse of Auburn, Ronnie (Pam) Bosse of Turner, Roger (Rejeanne) Bosse of Lewiston; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and two close former sister in law’s Bea (Rick) Levasseur of Lewiston, Sheila Bosse of Mechanic Falls, and a former brother in law Roger Aube. He very well loved pet dog “Donna.” She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers Rene and Regis Bosse and a sister Donna (Bosse) Aube.
The family invites you to a time of visitation on Wednesday February 22nd from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Fortin Group AUBURN, 217 Turner St. immediately followed by a service at 1:00pm at the Fortin Group.
