Cynthia Hayes

She was born in Bethesda, Maryland, on January 2nd, 1962. Cindy graduated from Sterling Heights Stevenson High School and received a Master’s Degree in Finance from Walsh College.

She was married to Chris Grobbel on June 26th, 2004.

After working in finance for 2 years, Cindy followed her true passion - horticulture. She became a certified landscape architect and ran her own landscaping business for 3 years.

Cindy had a magnetic personality and a smile that could light up a room. She was a natural mother and caregiver and her generous love was felt by many.

She is survived by her husband, Chris; her mother, Mary; her children, Gino Maisano, Christopher Maisano, and Kyle Grobbel; her granddaughter, Melhoney Granstrom; and countless other family, friends, and neighbors who will forever miss her.

Rest in peace, Cindy… Mom. We love you.
