Shirley Ann Ramos

Shirley Ann Ramos, was born on January 28, 1937, in San Francisco, California. She was raised most of her childhood in Clear Creek, California. And attended Westwood elementary and High School’s. She was the daughter of the late Wallace and Elva Leedy of Standish Ca. Shirley was retired from Formica Corporation in Rocklin Ca.

She was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord her whole life. She loved spending time with family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her children and many, many grandchildren. Most of all, she was a loving wife of Herman Ramos, mother of Dale Nelson, of Standish Ca. Rocky Nelson, of Basin, Wyoming. Mitzi Steel, of West Alexandria Ohio. Grandmother of Robert, KC Nelson, Mandy LaRowe, Brad McKinnon. Joshuwa Steel, Jessica Spencer, Christopher, Courtnie-Ashlie Swaney. Great-grandmother of Brandon, Ryan Nelson. Julianna Nelson. Nelson, Michael LaRowe. Kayden, Everlee McKinnon. Jarred, Ashlie, Callissa Steel. Jackson, Justin-Bobby Spencer, and a Great-granddaughter due to be born in December, Adaline Marie Swaney. Great-great grandmother to, Oliver and Emmett Steel, Brayden Wilmarth, Landon Nelson, Kahlani Nelson due in October. Evelyn, Elianna, Deimos Nelson. And many cousins.

In addition to her parents. Shirley was pre-deceased by her paternal father, Van Vanderley, and by a baby brother Vanderley, a baby sister, Linda Leedy, and brothers, Dale and Thomas Vanderley. And a granddaughter, Courtnie-Ashlie Marie Swaney.

Shirley will be deeply missed but cherished and loved in memory.

There will be a graveside service for family and friends on Saturday September 2, 2023, at 11:00AM. at the Westwood Cemetery, in Westwood California. Where Shirley will be laid to rest next her brother, Dale Vanderley, and nearby family.
