David "Nick" Garcia

Nick received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cal State Northridge University. He served honorably in the National Guard Reserve. Nick had a passion for classic cars, especially corvettes, and is well-known by many car enthusiasts in the Auburn area. Nick retired early from his career in the insurance claims industry to help care for his sons and disabled daughter, while his wife attended law school. Nick always encouraged others to follow their dreams and was instrumental in encouraging his wife to return to school and to become a lawyer, despite the challenges the family faced.

Nick leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Mary Catherine “Cathy” Garcia, his sons Nicholas and Justin, and daughter Trinity Noel.

A memorial service will be held July 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, California with a reception to follow. Please join us in remembering Nick by signing the online guestbook at www.chapelofthehills-auburn.com
