Joanne Shank Miller

Joanne Miller (86) of Attica died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Willows of Willard. She was born November 10, 1926 in Willard to the late Sylvester and Ada (Petit) Shank. Mrs. Miller was married October 14, 1945 to Luther “Junie” Miller who preceded her in death in 2002.

Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Willard High School, Class of 1944 and a member of the Legacy Life Enrichment Center, Attica. She is survived by 2 daughters: Carol (Gene) Frankart of Attica and Lois (Tim) Walsh of Sandusky. 4 grandchildren: Mandy (Greg) Polachek of Willard, Hannah and Andrew Walsh of Sandusky and Jane Miller. Brother: Jim (Marge) Shank of Calistoga, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son: Richard Miller.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Legacy Life Enrichment Center, on the square in Attica with Pastor Mark Boedeker officiating. Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday from 2-6 P.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Legacy Life Enrichment Center, 2 N. Main Street, Attica or the Seneca East Public Library, P.O. Box 572, Attica.
