Terri Lynn Tidwell

Funeral Services for Mrs. Terri Lynn Coe Tidwell, age 57 of Altoona, will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Harold Coe officiating. Burial will follow at Aurora Cemetery.

Mrs. Tidwell passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Grandview Medical Center. Born in Alabama, she was a 1982 graduate of West End High school. A woman of many trades; she received many degrees and worked as a Dispatcher with Etowah County 911 for 25 years before retiring. She loved her family, especially her kids and granddaughter. Mrs. Tidwell loved fashion and was a girly girl at heart. She loved anything to do with hair, makeup, clothes and shopping. She had a large personality, never met a stranger and was nice to everyone. First impressions meant a lot to her and she made friends everywhere she went. Mrs. Tidwell also enjoyed painting, drawing, traveling and taking road trips.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Michelle) Griffin and Andrew Jenkins, both of Altoona, her granddaughter, Adilyn Griffin, her spouse, Jimmy Tidwell of Altoona, her nephew, Austin (Cheyenne) Coe, her great-nephew, Ryder Coe, her extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Martha Coe, and two brothers, Willard Aaron Coe, Jr. and Randall Lamar Coe.

Active Pallbearers will be: Mark Griffin, Daniel Lindsay, Austin Coe and Colin Booker.

Andrew Jenkins and Jimmy Tidwell will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Morgan Funeral Chapel from 12:30 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
