Sandra Nelson

Memorial Services for Mrs. Sandra Spinks Nelson, age 75 of Rainbow City, will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at Rockledge Baptist Church with Doyle Spinks, Catherine Logan and Jake Jacobs officiating.

Mrs. Nelson passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at her home. She was a seamstress for most of her life. She loved having a garden and enjoyed canning vegetables for the winter months. Mrs. Nelson loved cooking for her family and spending time with her family and friends. She loved her senior group and the time they spent together.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Noblitt (Eddie) and Jami Keener, her son, Eric Nelson (Rachelle), her sister, Karon Bagley (Claude), her brothers, Doyle Spinks (Barbara) and Larry Spinks (Julia), 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Z.L. and Ora Dea Spinks, her husband, Arlen Nelson, her daughters, Jill Nelson and Cindi McClain, her son-in-laws, Bobby Keener and Mark McMlain.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Shepherd's Cove Hospice for their loving care.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. at Rockledge Baptist Church.
