Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, Alabama. The family will receive visitors in the Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Chris Terrell and Jay Benefield to officiate. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Morgan Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Norma was born and raised in Shoal Creek Valley, St. Clair County, Alabama. She graduated from Ashville High School, and married her devoted husband, Ray Ingle, on March 24, 1956. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church. Her family enjoyed her bountiful, excellent cooking and her generosity in choosing the perfect gifts for her family members. She was a sweet, caring peacemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Manley Watson and Viva Bell Holladay Watson, and her little brother, Russell Truett Watson.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Ingle, and three children, Jerry (Sharon) Ingle, Sherry (Reza) Ghavassi, and John Ingle, as well as her brother, Larry (Shirley) Watson; four grandchildren, Jonathan (Melissa) Ghavassi, Joshua (Mikie) Ghavassi, Nathan Ghavassi, and Holly (Tanner) Perman; her seven great grandchildren: Morgan Mitchell, Austin Suddeth, Jackson Ghavassi, Sahra Ghavassi, Watson Perman, Forrest Perman, and Atlas Perman; and several nieces and nephews, all of whom adored Norma as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan, Joshua, and Nathan Ghavassi, Tanner Perman, her nephew Phillip Watson, and special family friend James Carter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund at White Springs Baptist Church, 4411 Rainbow Drive, Rainbow City, AL 35906 or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
