Michael Charles Horton age 62 of Attalla passed away February 23, 2024. Funeral Service will be at 11am Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 until 11am. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery.
Mr. Horton played in the Etowah High School band and worked for Triple A for many years. He enjoyed Alabama Football, NASCAR Racing, and sporting around in his Dodge Challenger but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid collector of knifes and coins and was a big Elvis Presley fan. He was the life of the party anywhere he went.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bert Horton; mother, Daphene Horton.
He is survived by his son, Charles Brandon Horton; daughter, Talya Howard; step daughters, Amanda Baker and Leighann Mitchell; grandchildren, Jonah Wiggins, Nicholas Horton, Bryli Horton, Amelia Godsey, Ellie Grey Howard, and Lincoln Hilburn.
Pallbearers will be Dalton Dean, Ethan Autwell, Ty Jones, Robert Finley, Mark Foster, and Ronnie Foster.
