Lori lived her life as a devoted wife, mom, sister, daughter, friend and Nana. Lori attended Gadsden High School class of 1980 and also Gadsden St. Jr. College as it was known then. In high school she was active in the Triads choral group. Lori was of the Baptist faith and in her youth attended Twelfth St. Baptist Church, where she gave her life to Christ. She was active with the Chapel Choir (youth) at the church, where she was able to make lifelong friendships. Lori was a devoted mother who worked tirelessly as a team Mom or sponsor in the different sports organizations in which her children were involved. Lori worked at McDonald’s as her first job working her way up to manager and even opened her own store as manager in Pelham, AL. After having her son Justin, she then took a job at Holy Name of Jesus Hospital, later known as Riverview Regional Medical Center, where she worked 30 years being a smiling face and light in the lives of those who were blessed to work with her. Her passion was the many charity functions she was able to give of her time including American Red Cross, American Heart Association Heart Walk, United Way of Etowah County and Success by Six. Lori loved life. She loved her friends and family fiercely. We will all miss her smile, the “look” she could give you, and of course, her infectious laugh.
