Jim was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, Parkersburg, WV, and he attended the University of Central Florida where he majored in Microbiology. Jim served in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nikkii Hébert; and parents, Leland and Dorothy.
Jim is survived by his wife, Dian; son Greg (Jan) Ferrell, Hahira, GA; brother-in-laws, Bobby (Nina) Pelletier, Bryant, AL; and Garland (Kathy) Pelletier, Denver, NC.
Graveside ceremony will be at Samuels Chapel Cemetery, Altoona, AL, at 2:00 pm on February 20, 2023. Pastors, Randy Wine and Freddy Keener to officiate. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory to direct.
Pallbearers are Greg Ferrell, Bob Pelletier, Randy Wine, Freddy Keener, Jimmy Chapman and Hal Scoggins.
