Frankie Lee Pearce

Frankie Lee Pearce passed away on May 24, 2023 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and glorious reunion with her family. Frankie was a beautiful, gracious, loving Southern Lady totally devoted to her family. Frankie was born in Hogansville, GA to Dr. George Bruce Head Sr and Addie Lee Easley Head. She married James J. (Sam) Pearce and they raised their son and daughter in Gadsden and Rainbow City until Sam’s death in 1996. After caring for her mother and older brother for many years, Frankie moved to Chattanooga in 2008.

Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dr G. Bruce Head Jr., her husband, James J. (Sam) Pearce, her daughter, Dr Donna Lee Pearce Scorey, Grandson Dr David J Pearce, her son, Charles Judson Pearce and her daughter-in-law, Sandra P Pearce.

She is survived by Grandchildren Charles James (Lesley) Pearce, Lisa Lockhart Pearce, George W “Bill” (Mindi) Scorey, Dr Stephen Pearce (Laura) Scorey, Son-in-Law Dr. George W Scorey, and 12 Great Grandchildren. Samantha, Kaitlyn and Hannah Pearce, Helena; Haden and Colton Pearce Gadsden; Charlotte, Caroline, Liam and Avery Scorey Signal Mountain, TN and Liv, Elle and George Pearce Scorey Lookout Mtn. TN. Many beloved cousins, nephews, nieces and devoted friends especially nephew Dr. G. Bruce Head, III and Donna and Frankie’s Best Friend Chris Hudson.
