Bonnie Faye Peterson

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonnie Peterson, age 89 of Steele, will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Reeves Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Charlie “Rhody” Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Peterson passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at her home. A lifelong resident of Steele, she was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. Once winning 1st place for a quilt she had done. She also loved flowers and was the best cook around. Mrs. Peterson was a loving caregiver to many children that she grew to love as her own.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Peterson (Wanda) of Steele, two grandchildren, Amy Farmer (Marty) and Adam Peterson, three great-grandchildren, Anzlee and Eason Farmer, and Sterling Peterson, a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Granvil Peterson, her parents, one sister, four brothers, and her chosen grandchild, Jacob Adams.

Active Pallbearers will be: Scott Pruitt, Kent Pierce, Jon Lowe, Jimmy Whittemore, Dewayne Fuller and Matt Bowlin.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Compassus of Gadsden for their care over Mrs. Peterson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Reeves Grove Baptist Church.
