Barbara Joyce Engle

Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara Joyce Engle, age 75 of Albertville, will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Delbert “Red” Holliday officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Egypt Community.

Mrs. Engle passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center. Barbara was a very strong woman with unbreakable love for people. She was super kind to anyone to lend a helping hand to whoever was in need. Barbara was a grandmother to all children, no matter the child. She was a very godly woman. A hard worker, Barbara made the absolutely best biscuits around.

She is survived by her children, Dewayne Engle (Angelia), Diane Gomillion (Donell) and Becky Boshell (Greg), her grandchildren, Ashley Thomas, Christopher Lowden (Brittany), Zack Thomas, Ashley Leslie (Zach), Whitney Gomillion, Corey green and Tasha Green, her great-grandchildren, Kimberly Justice, Kaylee Pell, Alley Thomas, Christian Lowden, Tristian Lowden, Elli Lowden, Xavier Leslie, Adalynn Leslie, Krislyn Snider and Amanda Boshell, and her brothers, Delbert “Red” Holliday and Dalmus Holliday (Evie).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne Engle, her parents, Dock and Rebecca Holliday, four brothers and her granddaughter, Joyce Engle.

Active Pallbearers will be Zack Thomas, Jason Parker, Norman Ziegler, Billy Minor, Drew Bearden and Casey Looney.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Isaiah Pell, Greg Boshell, Ricky Holliday, Aaron Holliday and Gene Holliday.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and until service time on Friday.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Calhoun, Albertville Fire & Rescue, Morgan Funeral Chapel and all who was involved.
