Benny G Ross

Benny G. Ross, 74, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017. He was born in Chamblee, GA on May 20, 1943. Benny graduated from Chamblee High School. He was married to Joyce Terrell on September 12, 1964. He worked in the restaurant industry for Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Old Hickory House from where he retired. He was a member of Brookhaven United Methodist Church. Benny will be remembered as a loving husband, father and Grandpa. He is survived by daughters Kimberly Ann Phillips (William) and Melissa “Missy” Coker (Junior); grandchildren Scott Wischmann, Sarah Wischmann and Benjamin Hollis Coker; sisters Margie Shuman and Jewell Reese; and sister in law Janice Ross. Benny was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Terrell Ross; parents Henry and Lorene Ross; brother Ray Ross; and sisters Ann Miller and Louise Coston. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, 11:30 am, at H M Patterson Oglethorpe Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Brookhaven, GA 30319, with burial following at Arlington Memorial Park.
