A native of Hart County, Mrs. Reynolds was a daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Williams. She retired after a number of years as Secretary at East Athens Baptist Church and was a member of Central Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Reynolds and her stepmother, Nell Williams.
Survivors include children, Rick Reynolds of Athens, Keith Reynolds and wife, Deborah, of Nicholson, Karen Reynolds of Winterville and Marie Reynolds of Athens; brother, Bobby Williams and wife, Jody, of Hartwell; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece who lived with her, Angie Shaw.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 12 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.
