A native of Athens, GA, Mrs. Seagraves was the daughter of the late B.R. and Audrey Connally and was preceded in death by her husband, DeWitt Seagraves; son, Edward Seagraves, and daughters, Jeanine Simmons and Brenda Brue. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Hartwell, GA.
Survivors include daughter, Peggy Burton and husband, Harold of Monroe, GA; sisters, Lillian Chandler of Athens and Alice Kesler of Winterville; 16 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 2PM Thursday, November 10th at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Luther Fouche officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-1:45PM prior to the service at Bernstein Funeral Home.
