Mr. Culp was a native of Clarke County and was the son of the late Henry Thomas and Annie Ruth Dixon Culp. Mr. Culp had been a long time musician in the Athens area, playing the keyboard and singing with several area bands. He also owned and operated Culp and Sons Pest Control until his retirement in 2001.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Culp of Athens, sons, Thomas Randall (Randy) Culp, Jr. of Athens and Robert D. Culp of Greensboro, GA; brother, Michael A. Culp of Carrolton, grandchildren, Ashley Culp, Katie Culp and Devin Ray Jacobs-Culp; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.
Funeral services will be 2PM Friday, December 14th, at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Interment will follow in the Princeton United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Bernstein’s from 7-9 pm on Thursday, December 13, 2012.
