Jack had an extensive career in the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed in North and South Carolina, Texas, Germany, Japan, and Vietnam to name a few. He retired from Reliance Electric in the early 80s.
Jack is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Lori Keyes of Hampton, SC; twin grandsons, Jake Keyes (Kerissa Hiers) and Tyler Keyes of Hampton, SC; many nieces and nephews; along with two special friends, Hoyt Ashe and Ronald Patrick.
Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years Mavis; his parents, Nelia and Henry Keyes; and sisters, Louise Keyes McKinnon and Shirley Keyes Smith.
A memorial graveside service will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, November 23, 2021 with Pastor Ann Mann officiating.
