A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Huebner was the daughter of the late John Osborne and Ethel Lamon Davis and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Huebner and daughter, Joan E. Huebner. She attended Temple University and had lived in Athens, GA since 1962. Mrs. Huebner was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, having served three years on the Church Council, and was a past president of the Lutheran Church Women. She was a member and past president of Athens Regional Medical Center Auxiliary since 1964. Mrs. Huebner served as an officer in Athens Women’s Club and was a member of the University Women’s Club.
Appreciation is expressed to Arbor Terrace of Athens and to Odyssey Hospice for the extraordinary care that they provided.
A memorial service will be held 11AM Monday, October 24th at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
