A native of Madison County, Mrs. Roberts was the daughter of the late Claude and Elsie Vinson Bruce. She worked as a cashier for Bells Food Store for 20 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Talmadge Roberts of Watkinsville; son, Larry Roberts and wife, Cindy of Watkinsville; daughter, Debbie Meeler and husband, Larry of Watkinsville; brothers, Thomas Bruce of Winterville and Carlton Bruce of Statham; sister, Dot Bruce of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Missy Krumm, Jennifer Brugh, Travis Meeler, and Ryan Meeler; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, July 23rd in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev Tony Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Sunday, July 22nd at Bernstein.
Gary Gunter, Travis Meeler, Daniel Brugh, Ryan Meeler, Eric Krumm, and David Coker will serve as pallbearers.
