Born in Athens, Mrs. Anglin was the daughter of the late Earnest W. Tanksley and Maudie Lucille Sosbee Tanksley. She owned and operated Kids and Company, a nursery school in Athens and was a member of Cleveland Road Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anglin was preceded in death by her husband, Thurmon L. Anglin.
Survivors include son, Scott Thurmon Anglin, daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Anglin; daughter, Terri Anglin Fish and her husband, Garrett Thomas Fish; and grandchildren, Steele Scott Anglin, Stedman Thurmon Anglin, Tanksley Mays Anglin, Thomas Jackson Fish and Ella Farrell Fish.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 19, at 11:00 a.m., at Cleveland Road Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Bernstein Funeral Home.
