Linda was such a loving pre school teacher who made a lasting impression on our family by the loving way she taught our daughter in preschool .  Our daughter, Laura Cole Hixon, was blessed by having Linda  as a teacher.  We will always be grateful for the role she played in  Laura’s early education.  

Linda was always such a happy, vivacious presence in our Wednesday morning Women's Bible studies.  She was quick to laugh and share even at the hardest times, a true sister in Christ. We do not mourn as those with no hope in the LORD, but we will still miss her.  May God wrap his arms around you at this time and give you peace.

I met Ms. Linda at the table of Martha on our Walk to Emmaus...She was so strong in her faith and just such a sweet, sweet lady.  I have so enjoyed being a neighbor of her daughter, Linsey and SIL Johnny.... loved seeing her with Millican and Seele!

We are so very sorry to hear of this tragedy.  Linda was one of our favorite people.  Our entire family loved seeing her when we were in Athens.  She always asked about our children and genuinely cared about every one of us.  We send all of you our love and condolences.

Linsey,  I'm so very sorry for the loss of your sweet mother.  Mrs. Linda was a wonderful, kind, caring & loving lady. A true Southern Belle.  I remember all those times growing up as a kid at your house.  She was always laughing and smiling.  She will be missed by so many.
