Lauren Correll Dillard, 60, of 123 Dillard Road died unexpectedly Thursday, April 26, 2018. He was a son of Joyce McCune Dillard and the late James E. Dillard. He was preceded in death by brothers, Greg and Johnny Dillard.
Mr. Dillard had an outstanding and rewarding career in Federal IT consulting with various companies including TTC and Ciber. He worked as a Network Engineer and IT Solution Expert as well as a technical consultant for proposals. Mr. Dillard was an avid farmer and enjoyed the outdoors and his dog, Hank. As a graduate of Madison County High School, he loved coordinating get togethers of his former classmates. Mr. Dillard graduated from the University of Georgia and loved Georgia football, boating on Lake Lanier, and golf.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, April 29, at Bernstein Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, May 2.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, John Edmond Campbell Dillard, and a daughter, Elizabeth Quinn Dillard, and former wife, Lecia Campbell Dillard, Buford, GA.; sister, Kelly (Steve) Burroughs.
