Joseph Alfred LaChance "Fred" of Athens, Georgia, went to his Eternal Father on Monday, October 25, 2021.
He was married to the late Dorothy Bailey "Miss Dodie" LaChance. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a fourth degree member of The Knights of Columbus #2148.
Mr. Fred is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Loraine Croteau; nephews, Michael and Daniel Croteau; and niece, Julie Croteau.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 4, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
