Jeffery Thomas Gordon Sr.

Jeff was born in Athens on April 9, 1968, and attended Jackson County High School. Jeff served as a youth minister and Associate Pastor for 13 years, before becoming a Lineman with Over and Under Construction Company. Jeff was an avid UGA fan and spent many years coaching football, baseball, basketball, softball and wrestling.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 20 years, Chrissie Hyatt Gordon of Bethlehem; children, Joshua Gordon, Jeffery Thomas Gordon, Jr. and his wife, Brittany, and Holley Kepley and her wife, Regina Kepley all of Hoschton; Nicole Dooly and her husband, Justin of Pendergrass; Jacob Gordon and his wife, Jordan of Eatonton; Taylor Hawkes and Chase Hawkes both of Bethlehem; parents, Thomas and Jean Gordon of Athens; brothers, Kevin Gordon and his wife, Christina of Hull; Thomas Gordon, II of Athens; Jeremy Prather and James Prather; mother-in-law, Susan Hyatt of Athens; and seven grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday, November 18, 2024, in Bernstein Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel officiated by Pastor Eddie Corne.

Burial will be held privately.
