Janice Snyder

A native of New Castle, IN, Mrs. Snyder was the daughter of the late James and Mildred Barlow Padgett and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Snyder; sister, Nancy Padgett Fowler, and granddaughter, Nicole Pass. She worked at Flower & Gift Basket for many years and was also employed in the registrar’s office at the University of Georgia. Mrs. Snyder was a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Bryan Snyder and wife, Kim of Mountain City, GA, Brent Snyder and wife Tammy of Grayson, GA, and Bradley Snyder and wife, Rachel of Bethlehem, GA; daughter, Melissa Chalker and husband, Ken of Winder, GA; nieces, Stephani Adams and husband, Dyron of Perry, GA and Amiee Ventura and husband, Steve of Knoxville, TN; sister, Karen Ohlsson and husband, Karl of Marietta, GA; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 nephews, and 1 niece.

Funeral services will be held 3PM, Sunday, December 2nd in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM prior to the service at Bernstein.
