She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, William B. Johnson; sisters Sylvia K. Nelson and Gladys K. Daniels; and brothers Glen, Thomas and M.F.
Survivors include her children, Glen W. Johnson (Georgeanne) of Watkinsville, GA and Cheryl A. Johnson (the late David Divoky) of Cambria, CA; grandchildren, Sara Johnson and Alexander Divoky; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a faithful member of the Baptist Church, attending wherever she lived and served as church secretary in Johnson City, Tennessee. She loved Sunday drives, traveling, sewing, gardening and canning.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 27, at 2:00 p.m., in the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dave Smith officiating. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home reception room.
