Barbara was born April 7, 1941 in Thorpe, WV and was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Toth Lupyon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hamilton Smith; a son, Kenneth Ray Smith; and a brother, Paul Lupyon, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Smith Wilbanks (Steve); grandchildren: Whitney Medders and Chris Veal; great-grandchildren: Jackson and Levi Medders and Ashlynn and Audree Veal; niece and nephew, Jennifer and Vince Lupyon.
A graveside service for Barbara will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 3410 Coal Heritage Rd., Bluefield, WV 24701. Barbara will be laid to rest beside her soulmate and husband, Jim.
Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
