Aaron was born April 29, 1995 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents Elizabeth Lang Krask and Scott Robert Krask. Two years later, the Krask family grew and Aaron gained a sister, Lindsey Michelle Krask.
Aaron was an avid lover of the outdoors, a dedicated member of the school marching band, and always loved to tell jokes and play games with his little sister. Aaron began learning German in high school and applied for the CIEE exchange program, a decision that changed the rest of his life. Aaron was extremely passionate about all things German: language, culture, and exchange programs.
In the fall of 2014, Aaron began studying International Affairs and Germanic and Slavic Languages at the University of Georgia. While there, he met his wife, Allison Bernice Hardman, and eventually went on to graduate with a dual Bachelors degree in May of 2017. After that, Aaron began his Masters in German at the University of Georgia and began teaching for the German department. There, Aaron was able to inspire many others and share his passions.
Upon Aaron’s graduation from his Masters program in May of 2020, he went on to work at Bark Technologies as a Customer Support Specialist. There, Aaron was able to use his love of helping and talking to others to excel in his career. He made an abundance of friends at Bark. Eventually, in December of 2020, Aaron married Allison Hardman and the two of them bought a house together in Athens.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Allison Hardman, his parents, Beth and Scott Krask, his sister, Lindsey Duarte, his brother-in-law, Roberto Duarte, his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Krask, and his beloved four-legged children, Bella, Luke, Jaxx, and Jules. Aaron is survived by so many others including his German host-parents, Helga and Heiner Kösters, and the remainder of his German family. Especially being so young, Aaron is also survived by a plethora of other family members and an incredible amount of friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Barbara and Dale Lang, and his paternal grandmother, Joan Johnson Krask.
Aaron was so many things; a husband, a pet dad, a son, a brother, a friend, and a damn good Dawg.
A memorial service for Aaron will be held Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home, 3195 Atlanta Highway, Athens, GA 30606.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to a few of the many things that Aaron was so passionate about: CIEE (an exchange program that Aaron was a part of for 10 years), the University of Georgia’s German Department (where Aaron both studied and taught), and Middleton Memorial (a family memorial in his “own little slice of Heaven” Ludowici, GA).
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.BernsteinFuneralHome.com for the Krask family.
