Clyde (Moody) Schrimsher

Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at

McConnell Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. There will be a private burial in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Schrimsher was born January 16, 1940 in Limestone County

to William C. Schrimsher and Mae Wagnon Schrimsher.

Mr. Schrimsher served in the Navy after high school, and he

graduated from Athens State. He worked with AC-Delco, a

division of General Motors for 33 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Homer

Schrimsher, two sisters-in-law, Maxine Schrimsher and Mary

Schrimsher.

Survivors include his wife, Micky Schrimsher of Athens; two

daughters, Vicky Schrimsher VanLandingham and husband, Jeff of

Jacksonville, FL; Carrie Schrimsher of Huntsville; three brothers,

Glenn Schrimsher, Morris Schrimsher, and Jerry Schrimsher;

two sisters, Mauvoline Yarbrough and Ruth Miles.

Pallbearers will be: Gary Aderholt, Glenn Aderholt, Darrin Aderholt, Jeff VanLandingham, Keith Schrimsher, and Jeff Taylor.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
