Charles Rodney Frazier

Charles Rodney Frazier, age 79, of Elkmont, Alabama, passed away January 9, 2024 Col. Robert L. Howard St. Veterans Home. Charles was born in Morgan County, AL on June 30, 1944 to Charlie Frazier and Cleo Powell Frazier.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Helen Frazier of 27 years, four sons Andy Frazier, Adrien Goodrich, Michael Goodrich, Drew Goodrich, three daughters Cherokee Finney, Madison Goodrich, Sheena Coley, and one step daughter Pam Nelson, One sister Brenda Taylor, and two grandchildren.

He was a member of Methodist Faith. Charles served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam for 4 years. He was a police officer in Atlanta. Charles retired from the Arsenal after 40 years of service in security. He was a family man who loved to cook, bake, garden, and work in his yard. Charles was always ready to help those who needed him.

Visitation will be Saturday January 13, 2024 at McConnell Funeral Home from 2:30-3:00 P.M.

Graveside Services will be Saturday January 13, 2024 at Roselawn Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. with Greta McAdams officiating.

Pallbearers will be Cherokee Finney, Adrien Goodrich, Michael Goodrich, and Gilbert Hebert.
